uuuhh thats too much of xmas for me
#4 memodude on 12 Dec 2003 - 00:39
Kind of over-Christmas to me. :p I mean, I don't really like complete computer themes at all - they're usually tacky, like this one, or all those things like Neowin.net logons, wallpapers, visual styles, etc.

I think it is good just having one element, like wallpaper or a screensaver. Same for complete Neowin.net skinning. I think it is just going a little too far. :p

Yes, way too overboard. I'll take everything but the VS from this and use the one from our forum

does this require your uxtheme to be patched already? will it work on server 2003? can it easily been reverted (for after christmas)?
#11.1 thornz0 on 15 Dec 2003 - 08:41
doesnt need a patch, and it should work on server 2003. Nothing stardock does 'hacks' your system, its all very easy to undo
#12 snively on 12 Dec 2003 - 09:39
ugh... hideous

www.twinklebulbs.com Give that a spin.
#13.1 Suddenly_Dead on 14 Dec 2003 - 00:01
Twinkle bulbs looks horrific. The bulbs user very little color, and are very undetailed and pixelated

#15 Solarix on 12 Dec 2003 - 14:54

#16 sethrd on 12 Dec 2003 - 16:17
That will get real annoying real quick.
#17 themajor on 12 Dec 2003 - 17:52
Using it right now.......woooooow.......spectacular........graphics work to the highest degree by mormegil (Paul Boyer)........Top of the Start Panel is raining snow flakes.....Fully functional items like Desktop X 2 Calendar, Weather Station, Clock (which chimes on the hour and you can see internal moving parts), Falling snow flakes all down your desktop by Martin and Paxx.......and there's more if you want it plus a Boot skin by Paul, Fully animated matching cursorXP set by Keila and Iconpackager theme by Paul also.
There's not much of a hit on your CPU either.
Just goes to show how far Object Desktop and especially DX2 and Windowblinds have advanced in the past 12 months.
