Overview
The ASP.NET Resource Kit is an essential resource for any web developer whether you're already using ASP.NET today, or looking to learn ASP.NET. The kit contains step-by-step instructions for getting started with ASP.NET, free controls from third party vendors, access to great ASP.NET hosting deals and more.

Note: Limited functionality - The ASP.NET Resource Kit includes sample projects for Windows, Web, and mobile applications. Working with source code for Web projects and viewing QuickStart guides require Microsoft Internet Information Server or Visual Studio .NET to be installed. Working with sample projects for certain applications requires that ASP.NET or Visual Studio .NET is installed. Some functionality may not be available on Windows XP Home Edition.

I'll mention here that it's a download approaching the same size as the .NET SDK, 130MB!

Well, duh. That's because it isn't a server...

The register link (so you can register the free components) in the instructions is incorrect (someone forgot to put http:// in front of the address). The correct one is http://www.asprk.com .
