Dacris Software today released the last beta build of NetXP 3.0. Beta 2 is now a public beta, which means it can be downloaded from the Dacris Software website. The final release of NetXP 3.0 is expected to be later this month. NetXP is a component suite for .NET that developers can use to enhance the way their applications interact with the user, providing a library of rich user interface controls and components. NetXP 3.0 is the latest version of NetXP, with many exciting new features such as a new Outlook bar control and a new command bar manager component that can save and load layouts.

This is for software developers to add pretty toolbars and other components to their apps, not for general uses. No need to post emoticons for no reason.

I've tested previous versions of the NetXP components and have been generally impressed. Once the full version of 3.0 is released, I'm sure we'll see some nice improvements with functionality and performance. These are definately useful for .Net developers who want to incorporate already familiar UI elements to their applications.

I love this set of tools. It's almost as though VS just isn't complete without them anymore.
