cue FF + opera fanboys

oh, and what the hell is up with these browsers like MyIE2 and Avant having screenshots of the program in its most bloated form??

i've emailed the authoer a few times now and still no responses.. i told him a lot of people are being turned off because of the screen shots.. i suggested two screenshots or an animated gif showing the bloated and non bloated.

Why don't they allow msstyle skinning with this browser? I don't need skins for every program I use.

Maybe they are just trying to show users everything that it's capable of doing or displaying. You all already know that you can turn all of that stuff off.
Quit your crying about it.

maybe, but sometimes you gotta look at things from a noobs point of view
#7 TGD on 18 Jun 2004 - 04:49
They're not "crying about it". They're commenting on screenshots that could be seen as very discouraging to people that have never used Avant. We can assume that isn't the developers aim.

Now that's a load of bull. How many "noobs" even know what bloat is?
#9 GNU-L0cke on 19 Jun 2004 - 07:16
What I can't figure out is why all you stupid noobs think this is actually a browser. It's not, it doesn't use its own engine or anything. All it is, is a front end for the Internet Explorer API....

Avant Browser = Internet Explorer + bloat
