Web Site filtering will not work with Firefox/Mozilla which makes it kind of useless given the recent spate of security concerns with IE.
#1.1 TGD on 25 Jul 2004 - 18:32
Guess they know it's not a piece of software worth putting effort in to.
#1.2 T-Metal on 25 Jul 2004 - 18:57
And in other news, TGD is a fool.

Read comment #3.

Actually, from a company (business) standpoint, it really isn't worth having employees work to figure out a problem for 5-10% of the browser market (or whatever share mozilla/ff has).
That seems like an easy decision to me. In any case, it does work with mozilla/ff like comment #3 said.

Sweet

Web Site filtering DOES work with Mozilla Firefox. You have to go into "Program Control", right-click on Firefox and choose options. In options check "Enable Privacy for this program" and it'll work just as good as with IE

I use an older version of ZAP. Works better then 5xxx whatever versions. Just my 2 cents

i agree.... not only that, but version 5 won't let me share my internet connection

version 4 all the way

Im using Kaspersky Anti-Hacker for months now, and I am very satisfied with it. I'm behind a router with a build-in Firewall so no need for a heavy Norton, or a buggy ZoneAlarm.
#6.1 NyaR on 25 Jul 2004 - 21:45
same here, kaspersky ah is great
#6.2 Mean Mr Mustard on 26 Jul 2004 - 02:19
Do they have a free version or do you have to pay $40 ?
#6.3 DJmorphine on 26 Jul 2004 - 04:37

#6.4 jdpixel on 26 Jul 2004 - 15:01
Might give Kaspersky a go - just got my router with built-in firewall, so cheers for the link
#6.5 chacho on 26 Jul 2004 - 16:13
why complain about a buggy BETA version?? every 4.x version is perfectly stable, and works as a firewall perfectly. i have never had any problems, and dont plan on upgrading to these "feature-packed" versions, since i dont need any of them.
#6.6 cork1958 on 27 Jul 2004 - 11:25
Done exactly the same thing, ditched ZA. Now my firewall matches my anti virus also. Kaspersky rocks!!
#7 zephiK on 25 Jul 2004 - 22:28

Version 5 has lots of problems. Be careful if you want to try it.
#10.1 T-Metal on 27 Jul 2004 - 13:27
Why do you say that? What problems are you having? It's been running rock-solid here ever since I installed it.
#11 Caleb on 26 Jul 2004 - 07:47
Version 5 should have been BETA for a looong time before this stable release!!!!
#12 cappuchok on 26 Jul 2004 - 10:00
Doesn't work at all with F-Secure Anti-virus installed. Back to Kerio for me.

Anyone know if SP2's Security Centre recognizes it properly now? (If it's installed & up to date etc. )
#13.1 DougW on 27 Jul 2004 - 10:55
Yes ZA 5 is recognized by SP2.,

I don't see why everyone diss's ZA Secuirty Suite - I've been beta testing v5 for them for awhile, and only came out with one or two bugs at the begining !!!
#14.1 T-Metal on 27 Jul 2004 - 13:29
Because there are too many trolls on Neowin, that's why. Either that or user error. I'm LMAO @ all these helpless users.
