The Pokémon franchise remains as popular as ever. Pokémon has sold more than 128 million video games worldwide, accounting for more than $4 billion in sales. For several weeks in early 2004, Pokémon Colosseum™, made exclusively for Nintendo GameCube™, and its pre-sell bonus disk outsold every software title and video game console on Amazon.com. And in Japan, Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen sold more than 2.5 million units in just over three months.

Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen offer never-before-seen features, including Union Rooms, hubs for social game play where up to 40 players can meet and chat wirelessly to trade and battle Pokémon or just make conversation using chat functions. The games also feature a more colorful and easier-to-use Pokédex that lets users sort their Pokémon in a variety of different ways.

Only 10 dollar if you pay via PayPal!
Well worth the money, just bought a license.
Quote this comment #5.1 Posted by FISKER_Q on 30 Jul 2004 - 09:27
yeah just sucks when you bought it before
Quote this comment #5.2 Posted by Schmoove on 30 Jul 2004 - 09:41
**** happens.

Same with Picasa, some people bought it and now it is a free download. Wouldn't bother me much.... it happens, can't have it all I guess.
Quote this comment #5.3 Posted by mikey on 30 Jul 2004 - 17:05
I just bought it as well, mainly because i use this program every day and the cracks are crap
Quote this comment #5.4 Posted by un0™ on 30 Jul 2004 - 17:32

I think I will too.

^Just did.
Quote this comment #5.7 Posted by RufioPan on 30 Jul 2004 - 22:33
*Great* FTP client... I think will get a license as well. For $10, that's surely a good deal.

Edit: Btw, to all you developers or prospective developers out there, use Paypal to sell/support your software! I find myself more inclined to donate/pay for software when it's cheap and as easy as paying with one button click!

yea, and FlashFXP calls home.. it sends your site list. Not sure if the rumor is true.
Quote this comment #7.1 Posted by Schmoove on 30 Jul 2004 - 09:21
I doubt that.... haven't seen any unusual activity on through my firewall.
Quote this comment #7.2 Posted by levijay on 30 Jul 2004 - 09:27
no its a false rumor, very untrue.
other developers in competition with ffxp like to start stupid rumors
Quote this comment #7.3 Posted by Slash on 30 Jul 2004 - 14:54
The only time FlashFXP 'phones home' is to check for updates, which is clearly shown (Liveupdate window) and even then, this only happens with the registered version.

The FFXP dev team has a statement here if you don't want to take my word for it.
Quote this comment #7.4 Posted by Mav Phoenix on 30 Jul 2004 - 18:35
Not true.
(1 reply) Quote this comment Reply to this comment #8 Posted by GAM on 30 Jul 2004 - 09:46
Looks like you can't control it from the keyboard, as I don't see any underlined letters in menus, tabs, buttons, etc. Is this true?
Quote this comment #8.1 Posted by Schmoove on 30 Jul 2004 - 10:01
That is a windows setting, not a FlashFXP setting:

Display Properties -> Appearance -> Effects -> Hide underlined letters for keyboard navigation until I press the Alt key.

Just uncheck that and you're set

It's really hilarious to see that many people are using this program..

FYI, FlashFXP are working with the FBI, and your favorites (sites.dat) are sent to the feds..

Enjoy

To the rest of the people who don't like their sites being sent to the feds use either SmartFTP or FTPRush (the successor to ultrafxp)
Quote this comment #9.1 Posted by Schmoove on 30 Jul 2004 - 11:24
Can you back that statement up with some evidence please??
Quote this comment #9.2 Posted by Nazgulled on 30 Jul 2004 - 11:24
I am sorry to let you know, but that's not true...
Quote this comment #9.3 Posted by levijay on 30 Jul 2004 - 11:27
QUOTE (#9.0)
FTPRush (the successor to ultrafxp)

another brainwashed monkey (aka ufxp/ftprush user) believing that stupid rumor
Quote this comment #9.4 Posted by Caleb on 30 Jul 2004 - 11:50
LOL, I don't use neither of those.

I use SmartFTP.

Everybody in the scene knows that ffxp has been workin with the feds. I'm not gonna prove a thing.
Believe it or not, ffxp used to be very popular in the scene so its very attractive for the feds to sniff this ****.

Keep using it, enjoy...

levijay, get ****.
Quote this comment #9.5 Posted by Schmoove on 30 Jul 2004 - 12:02
If you can't even prove it then don't cry out all that bull****.....
Quote this comment #9.6 Posted by levijay on 30 Jul 2004 - 12:12
Caleb, sorry for assuming, but most ufxp/ftprush users would say that rumor is true thats why i jumped to conclusions ;P

I dont know what scene your in, but FlashFXP (inicom) isnt working with the feds nor does it send any info out besides the serial number when its checking for an update.

like Schmoove said, if you have a statement, you need proof for that statement to be valid

/me gets ***** :p
Quote this comment #9.7 Posted by Aphax on 30 Jul 2004 - 12:41
This is a rumour spread by FlashFXP's competitors, it is untrue AFAIK. if it WERE true, there'd be a hell of a lot more people complaining about it since it's not very hard to use a packet sniffer every time you use FlashFXP to see what exactly it does. What IS true however is that FlashFXP checks wether it is registered with a valid key (homecalling) and kill itself if it isn't.
Quote this comment #9.8 Posted by Chrysalis on 30 Jul 2004 - 12:59
I think people in the scene get paranoid about a lot of things after the busts and saying flashfxp phones home is a way to make them feel better and have another thing to blame it on, flashfxp doesnt send out sites.dat.
Quote this comment #9.9 Posted by vetToxicfume on 30 Jul 2004 - 13:44
It's comments like Caleb's that make me wish MxxCon was here
Quote this comment #9.10 Posted by Slash on 30 Jul 2004 - 14:56
The FFXP dev team has a statement here, in which they very clearly state that your personal information is not collected.

#1.9

Whatever did happen to mxx?
Quote this comment #9.12 Posted by dannymp3 on 30 Jul 2004 - 17:49
Heard this too. FlashFXP RC4 had a lot of callhome crap on it, along with spyware I believe. Pandora released there own version with there own installer.

Rumors or not, better safe then sorry. No FlashFXP for me. Later.

I was hoping for an OSX version surprise ... This program is the only reason I have a PC..
Quote this comment #15.1 Posted by dunkin donuts on 31 Jul 2004 - 08:20
don't hold your breath
osx would require the developer to buy totally different hardware+software.
if there is ever going to be "alternative os" version of flashfxp it would be *nix 1st
