TotalSize is the Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer add-in that provides information about folders size (as well as files size) on your hard drive and files size on internet.

Moveax just released new version of TotalSize. Now you can manage ViewFolderSize module settings directly from Windows Explorer toolbar. All you need is install TotalSize 3.40, right-click on Explorer toolbar area and add TotalSize Bar to your Explorer.

The Pokémon franchise remains as popular as ever. Pokémon has sold more than 128 million video games worldwide, accounting for more than $4 billion in sales. For several weeks in early 2004, Pokémon Colosseum™, made exclusively for Nintendo GameCube™, and its pre-sell bonus disk outsold every software title and video game console on Amazon.com. And in Japan, Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen sold more than 2.5 million units in just over three months.

Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen offer never-before-seen features, including Union Rooms, hubs for social game play where up to 40 players can meet and chat wirelessly to trade and battle Pokémon or just make conversation using chat functions. The games also feature a more colorful and easier-to-use Pokédex that lets users sort their Pokémon in a variety of different ways.

This is stand-alone application. TotalSize is a Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer add-in. Feel the difference.
You don't need run even TotalSize Manager (you will need it only for change settings) in order to see folder size. Just set "Details" view and add TotalSize column.

I'd much rather run a standalone program for such a strenuous amount of work on the harddrive; calculating folder sizes is no easy task.

In the meantime a new version is out ...
3.41:
• TotalSize Bar now supports WindowsXP styles.
• Separator symbol check (now you can't input more than
one symbol).
• Small visual improvements.

I started using this program a few weeks ago. I love it. I don't use the Manager. I do alot of data recording and knowing the file sizes in Explorer makes the job much easier.

Doesn't this application spend much time scanning the folders? I mean, showing size of the windows folder is not done in a second? Or am i wrong?

It is depends on how many files you have in the folder and your PC speed.
By the way, you can always switch to old-style column view (files only) and back on-fly using toolbar button or TotalSize Manager.
