Dacris Software has just announced the beta program for ActiSetup 2005, an advanced setup authoring tool for Windows Installer. It will allow developers and software publishers to create installation packages for software products, with maximum ease of use and flexibility. ActiSetup 2005 will support authoring multiple types of MSI projects, from regular installations to patches and merge modules. It will also include an advanced bootstrapper and an MSI table editor. Other product features include support for importing MSI databases, web install support, and an integrated online updater.
