MSN® Messenger version 4.0.1 for Mac makes it easy to take advantage of the full power of instant messaging. By using MSN Messenger, you can see when your friends, family, and coworkers are online and then communicate with them instantly. MSN Messenger can also notify you when new messages arrive in your MSN Hotmail® Inbox, if you have a Hotmail account, and provide the latest news and headlines from MSN. And perhaps best of all, it's free!

What's New:
  • Office 2004 Integration: Use MSN Messenger to see if other team members are online, initiate an instant message conversation with them from within your document, then save it as part of your project file.
  • New Standard Emoticons: Let your friends know how you really feel with a wider selection of standard emoticons. MSN Messenger for Mac includes all the standard emoticons available in Windows® Messenger 6.0.
  • Improved Alerts: Reduce screen clutter and act on information instantly with a single mechanism that handles .NET, MSN and Office alerts.
  • Improved File Sharing: Eliminate file-sharing hassles when exchanging files across a corporate firewall.
  • Spam Filter: Reduce the number of unwanted instant messages you receive from strangers.
  • Integration with Entourage 2004 E-mail: Start a new instant message conversation with people in your Address Book, or view a recent one, by clicking the Messenger icon on their contact card.
  • Hotmail Support: Use MSN Messenger for Mac to view your Hotmail account now that the Address Book functionality has been updated.

Any ideas on what's been fixed? I'm guessing security updates.
