not to sound typical but...i swore this was posted already a week or two ago? or maybe im having deja vu...
ahhh i was thinking of VPC...my bad...great, guess more stuff to update on my server!!

No offense, but even if this was old news, it's new news on this site, so please refrain from making worthless posts like that. The net is full of crap already.

SP1 for Sharepoint Portal Server was released last month - see this Neowin Post - http://www.neowin.net/comments.php?id=2381...main&highlight=

Not sure what the differences / changes are as its the same KB article and it still says version 1 of the download.

Update - Just run FSUM on the original download and this one - and the MD5 Checksum is the same - 7AADE929C5C95A738CF2ED1EBBEDF529 - So this means that this file and the one available / downloaded on the 2nd of September are identical.
