  • what the web site address contains
  • what a web site is titled
  • who an e-mail is from
  • the subject of an e-mail
  • who an AIM conversation was with
  • text in an item

Not only does gdSuite filter the results, it also shows them to you in any to use Windows program that mimcs the look and feel of the built in Windows Search.

gdSuite also integrates into Windows Explorer to make searching as fast and easy as possible. Just right click any folder or drive and click Search with gdSuite... to start a new gdSuite search of that folder.

Since Google Desktop is still being developed I bet that this doesn't live a long life but it is a nice idea and it lits a fire under Google to add features to their software.

I think Google try to integrate the gdSuite features as part of the standard GDS tool.
