Overview
The Microsoft® .NET Framework Software Development Kit (SDK) version 2.0 includes everything developers need to write, build, test, and deploy .NET Framework applications—documentation, samples, and command-line tools and compilers. You must install the .NET Framework Redistributable Package version 2.0 prior to installing the .NET Framework SDK.

System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP

You must install the .NET Framework Redistributable Package version 2.0 Beta 1
prior to installing the Microsoft .NET Framework SDK version 2.0 Beta 1.

Note: If you have already installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, you do not need to install the .NET Framework SDK separately. Visual Studio 2005 includes the SDK.
