MSN Messenger has been updated again to version 7.0.0816. Theres no changelog available at the time of posting and the auto-update function of MSN Messenger isn't all that good, hence this posting for your convenience.

It's not clear whether Famitsu is simply basing an assumption on the inclusion of the drive on Kutaragi's previous comments, or if the magazine actually has new information about Sony's thinking on the matter.

If PS3 doesn't ship with a hard drive, it will give an edge to the Xbox 360, particularly in terms of massively multiplayer games - an increasingly popular genre which currently requires significant amounts of storage on the client side. Sony may be hoping, however, that the PS3's superior capabilities for removable storage, which includes slots for Memory Stick and other types of high-capacity memory cards, will allow MMOGs to be played on the console even without a drive.

It's also possible that Sony may adopt the approach which many commentators expected Microsoft to follow with the Xbox 360, by launching two versions of the PS3 - one without a hard drive and with limited media capabilities, and a more expensive model with a hard drive and full media functionality.

i used the a-patch afterwoods i couldnt see the status's of the people i was chatting with in the conversatation window..

using mess patch i lose the feature to add custom emoticons by right clicking em :/

You have to know how to use the patcher. I used A-Patcher and I CAN see the status. You have to stop just checking boxes you don't know enough about. It works fine if you use it correctly.

trying to use the manual download and it doesn't work...

I've got my 7.02MB file, but it says it's corrupted and I should go to the MSN Messenger website to download it again...

Wow, took an awful long time for this to be posted here.
Seeing is that games.mess.be also has been taking there sweet time on updating the games patch, for the last 4 days I've had to come here to see what's new since I have no Neowin tab anymore, which is the only reason I even use the GamesPatch.
