uTorrent is good for seeding due to the fact that it doesn't use any cpu apart from that it's usless

didn't development of this client stopped a while ago, author said something about not having time and energy for it? Someone else picked up development?

someone else picked up development. I've tried all the torrent programs and I always stick with ABC

At home I started with this client, but after a while I switched to Azureus. Azureus is a bit heavy but as good plugins, like a scheduler a thing that abc lack. Some weeks ago, Azureus started going crazy and then I switch back to ABC. I just hope that they created a sort of scheduler in ABC. That would be a killer featur to this speedy torrent client.

I use ABC for torrents. I don't think anyone cares, but I posted it anyways, because its a good use of a post.

I switched to Azureus because the development of ABC is so slow... It lacks some important features Azureus has.
#6.1 ThunderRiver on 05 Oct 2005 - 05:03
I have the opposite experience.
Azureus is soo bloated and slow in terms of downloading speed.. never got above 8 kb even with port fowarding.. and CPU usage is crazy with the Java runtime..

ABC all the way for me.

I also tried uTorrent, not getting any good speed either.. At least with ABC, I get 80 to 250 Kb on the same torrent file.

Has ABC added the ability to pick and choose which files to DL from a torrent? That was the main thing that turned me off from it.
