Today marks the public release of the newest program from BillP Studios. Scotty's feline friend, Lady the Task Catcher is now available. You can be the first to see Task Catcher and set up your Watch and Black lists. Full functionality will be available soon. Registration codes will be available for select users and for low price of $12.95.

Why add Task Catcher?
  • Even notice that one of your favorite programs have shut down and you don't know why?
Task Catcher can restart it or alert you to any changes.
  • Want to be sure Spyware doesn't shut down Zone Alarm or WinPatrol?
Malware doesn't know about Task Catcher so they won't bother!
  • Want to be sure certain programs won't run? Black list it and Task Catcher will stop it in its tracks.
  • Multiple users on your computer? Black list certain programs so other family members won't run them without your permission.
  • WinPatrol PLUS user? PLUS access has been integrated into the application.
  • Using R.I.D. technology Task Catcher provides functionality beyond a typical version 1.0 release.

12.95 is way too much, if this costed either 5 bucks or free then i would say sure but thats too much for an app that only does this.

The funny thing is that it says that malware doesn't know about it so it won't shut it down. But I'm sure they will know about it soon, and it'll get shut down along with the antivirus program and antispyware program. Then you have to buy another program to watch the task watcher.

i dont get it... cant you do most of that with a double click to restart the app, or just use windows rights management to block apps? if your security is good enough then you don't need to worry about malware... is there something im missing here?
