Microsoft has released an update to address an issue with
all versions of Windows Server 2003. As is explained in detail in Knowledge
Base Article 910481 network communications may stop responding when Windows
Server 2003 is used to implement Winsock Direct is a fast System Area Network
(SAN) environment. Other possible problems include data corruption, access
violation errors, or other unexpected network communications behavior.
