no offense but aint this pretty much a useless program for a more advanced computer user? ... cause to me i think it's not all that great... just use some common sence and keep windows upto date with windows update and keep your virus definitions updated and a decent firewall (router or default windows xp sp2 firewall) and your pretty much in good enough shape security wise.

to me this just aint worth installing cause of the resources it uses alone.

Is this only extra bloat-ware?

Or any actual new and USEFUL features?

i'm suprised they already have vista support. symantecs track record for new operating systems is typically pretty slow. good for them though.

i was an nis user from v2000-v2006, then onecare stole me away!

I was able to complete a download but get a "only works with Windows XP" notification and forced to cancel installation.
