I'm guessing there are not too many people that can use this driver. It only supports the bleeding-edge cards. Hopefully we'll get this driver for the rest of us in a few days.

well it doesn't work for 7800gs cards

It's not supposed to. It's specifically designed for Quad SLI systems. The one you want is 91.31.

yea but 91.31 is a load of ****. that has to be one of the worst drivers going. i mean i just bought this 7800 and i still have the playing a video and having my computer completely lock up on me.

Well 91.33 beta seems to run okay.

The previous 91 driver made my HD go away (no, its true). I wont install this anytime soon.

Doesnt work with 7900GTX SLI. Guess its really only for the Quad.

First line "designed for 7950 GX2 & Quad SLI Technology chipsets". Plus it's a Quad driver, lol.

Nvidia has an extra option on there website when downloading drivers:
- GeForce and TNT2
- GeForce Go 7 Series
- Quad NVIDIA SLI
- Quadro
- RIVA 128 / 128ZX

I missed it first time, but then found it upon a second glance.

So let me get this straight, these drivers are only for Quad-SLI cards? what happened to the unified driver architecture...oh well
#5.1 DjmUK on 12 Aug 2006 - 09:08
Correct. I'm thinking that the next set of drivers will be merged - it would be far easier for us end users. But no-one knows as yet.
