I had that problem in IE on one of my computers a couple months ago; deleting all the Neowin cookies should fix it.

Mine (downloaded far before this announcement) is currently 5450.4. Is this 5450.5? Which is the newest?

This is the same build 5450.4 I'd love to see a changelog, the timestamp is the same as the last beta 3 release too btw.

Files from the previous package are EXACTLY the same, there is no point installing this.

HOWEVER, there is a new file in the package called "iereseticons.exe" (in the update folder) which has to do with uninstalling IE7.

I'm assuming the the old package had an uninstallation bug where the IE7 icons were still kept? I'm not too sure, however, reinstalling IE7 will not add anything to your current build. This extra file is only kept inside the uninstallation folder and I suppose may only be called upon an uninstall of IE7.

My uninstallation folder (C:WINDOWSie7beta3) already has this file, so I'm not too sure how it got there, but basically, don't bother installing this.

Anyone else can confirm whether this is a valid IE7 B3 refresh or the same 7.0.5450.4 build? How about a change log? Btw, my previous installation already has iereseticon.exe in the IE7 B3 uninstallation folder.

I downloaded this net and compared it with the beta 3 i have been using for some time. I basically went through each of the files included and didn't see any difference.

The iexplore.exe version is 7.00.5450.4

DigitalDJ is right, nothing else seems to have changed. He is also right that IE7 did leave it's icons behind after uninstall.... to me isn't a bad thing

Can anyone confirm that the timeout issue with Beta 2 is fixed in Beta 3? IE 7 Beta 2 timed out after 15-20 seconds when trying to contact a slow response web server. Was wondering if this is still the case? (e.g. IE 6 times out after 60-120 seconds. Cheers.
