You probably have many CDs and DVDs, document libraries, MP3 music files, photo and video collections, software distribution packages, data backups and other disks?
  • What if you need one of your disks, but you cannot remember where it is?

well wouldnt you need to label them so you could physically find what disk you were looking for anyway? If so wouldnt it be as much effort writing oin the disk or the cd sleeve insert than it would be for giving it a catalogue number or whatever so that once youve searched with the app you can locate the physical disk.

seems fairly pointless to me unless you have many many small apps on a single cd.
