Period.
Too bad they kill off both Kerio and tiny, even if sunbelt sort of still develops Kerio but...
Period.
yea if you enjoy using a bloated pos firewall
I'd recommend COMODO Personal Firewall. And no BSODs. ;P
Period.
Now that is a very true statement!!!

Regardless, most serious gamers have enough resources to not be afraid of what a firewall is using up. If at most 20mb of RAM is going to kill your gaming experience, you really should think about upgrading your system or dumping the game. I wouldn't compromise my security for a game.
To a poster above, Jetico is a great firewall as well. Never got into Tiny though.

it affects my gaming experience not because its slow down my system (norton do that) but blocking everything even if i enable and create rules it still block my games and anticheat system that many games need.
Its a perfect firewall for users that only browse the web check email, but its too annoying for others, just inmagine that it dont even allow you to use msconfig (of course disable self protect make it work).
I'm sure one or two of the more vile anti cheat systems out there may not be compatible but I havent run into them yet.

This is what I'm trying to say, lol.
The only reason msconfig wont work is if you disable something in outpost in the process; and if want to do that for some reason just disable self protection, run msconfig, and then turn self protection back on.
As far as games, I haven't had any issues, perhaps this guy has found a rare event out there, but it's hardly the rule or a reason to proclaim outpost as butchered.
You could semi-legally download the Pro version now since it's been discontinued thanks to those ******** at Symantec.
I ditched it (despite actually paying for it) in favour of Comodo - the rules system is very similar, uses less memory, is excellent levels of complexity (it provides automatic rules for most of the popular software in use - approx. 25000 different pieces of software but you can change modes to differ the level of detail you want to give the rules) and unlike Outpost, it's service process is much harder to kill and therefore provides an added level of security.
