The Windows Live Mail desktop Team has released another beta refresh of their application - Build 1172.

This from the Windows Live Mail Desktop Blog: Well, it’s been over a month since we released an update – and the team has been diligently working on fixing lots (and I mean, lots) of bugs! All in all, we’ve fixed hundreds of bugs since the last build that our Beta testers received! I think when you install this latest build, you will likely see improvements all over the product – but, as usual, there are a few areas I’d like to specifically point out so you can try them out and give them a real run for their money!

Yeah, I get constant DEP errors on Vista.

Same with Messenger 8.1.

Working fine for me on Vista. Nice little improvements over the last build. Finally they put Send/Recieve on the toolbar!

Logs on faster also.

I have not been using it for sometime, till I saw the previous build and installed that due to buggy software.

This one is even better.

Does anyone know how to disable it from downloading messages and just read them off the server like outlook. All those eml files slow down my defraging by about 1000%.

I wish you could hide the Active Search bar. I would like the reading pane bigger.

Thank god they fixed the performance issues.

This build looks quite nice...Especially the login screen

I'll use this as my main if they have an improved junk mail filtering like Outlook (automatically)

Outlook detects my junk mails better

I found a bug. You can not right click and paste something in the "Subject" line. This happens in build 8.0.1172
