Anone here use this? I've heard it's pretty good, but want to see some others opinions on it.

I wish Neowin would stop putting this shareware crap on the front page.

Go look at SyncBack or better yet, look at Carbonite that offers easy (and encrypted) offsite automated backup at a very reasonable price.

Yeesh, they just throw any ol' shareware on the frontpage these days.

I found it a month or so ago and I swear by it now. It's great. Set it up, and then just forget about it until (god forbid) you actually need to recover files. It's a great deal for the price as well. Personally I went with the 3 month free trial and I currently have 10GB of data backed up. I plan on paying for this though, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants a cheap and easy backup solution.

don't bother complaining, I was nicely told: "don't bother PMing any of the staff, they won't give a s**t. they can post whatever they want" ...even if it is useless crap apparently.

There is nothing wrong in posting shareware if its a good one and besides they even have a discount.

Microsoft's free SyncToy can mirror/echo/sync drives across a network and either/both of them can be compressed and/or encrypted.

So echoing your documents drive to a second computer with a shared compressed/encrypted drive accomplishes the same thing for free.

And you can have it scheduled to run daily, as I do, overnight.
