DownThemAll and Firefox? Great combination yet no extra resources taken. Not so bloated either and compatible with every OS. Who still uses MSIE unless for updating only?

Oh, just ~80-90% of the market. Hardly anyone...

I just gave Orbit a try and I really like it. You can hardly complain about resource usage with it. While downloading it was using around 3MB on my system, and at idle it's using a whopping 530k. Firefox extensions do use resources by the way.

This is one of the slimmer download managers out there.

dTa is nice, but not quite there yet.

Obviously, just give it a try. If you don't like it, uninstall it.

I think all the Youtube/streaming media download and metalink support are worth it.
