Phex is a open source P2P filesharing client which is based on the Gnutella network. It is a multi-plattform and spyware free. It offers advanced functionalities and integrates all common Gnutella extensions like multi-source downloads and advanced search features.

But anyways, torrents are the kings of P2P so I don't know why anyone would waste their time with Gnutella.

Anyways what comes to me, it is still eMule. There's nothing quite like it content-wise.
Also, P2P itself is not dangerous if you download freely distributable content, such as the ones found in eMule Content Database.
