Norton Removal Tool is a program that can remove some Norton software from your computer. Norton Removal Tool runs on Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. Norton Removal Tool should be used only if you have tried to uninstall the Norton program using Windows Add/Remove Programs and that did not work.

Will Norton Removal Tool work for you?
Norton Removal Tool will remove these--and only these--Norton programs:

* Norton AntiSpam 2004/2005
* Norton AntiVirus 2003 through 2007
* Ghost 2003, Ghost Version 9.0 and 10.0
* Norton GoBack 3.1 through 4.2

* Norton Internet Security 2003 through 2007
* Norton Password Manager
* Norton Personal Firewall 2003 through 2006
* Norton SystemWorks 2003 through 2006
* Norton Confidential Online 2007

If your program is not in this list, do not use Norton Removal Tool. It will not remove your program.

Think you should change the heading somewhat, as the downloads are both for Win 98/ME and Win XP/Vista. When I first read "for Win Me/98", I was like "WTF, who makes stuff for those outdated os:es these days?"

Sounds like a good tool, but since I don't use Norton (too resource heavy), I won't be using this tool.

And to think all they need to do is build a proper uninstaller in the first place.
