Great firewall especially for free. In my opinion the only Windows firewall that rivals it is Outpost. Comodo is better than Zone Alarm, iolo, Norton/McAfee, etc.

Yes. I ve been tempted to switch from Outpost. And the only reason i havent yet is due to the fact i paid for Outpost.

I have been using Comodo for severals months and have been happy with it. Previously I was using Sygate (paid version) but of course Symantec bought them out and shut them down

I'm still using Sygate. It pretty much does everything I need and it isn't a hassle. Comodo is very tempting though, because it is more secure and is being updated. Jetico seems promising. I may have to switch too.

Damn you, Symantec!

I still like Outpost better, but is nice to see free firewalls like this being offered. I have installed this one on friends computers and it works really well.

I would like to try it but the site is down for maintenance

Nope... at this time Comodo and Jetico are the best firewalls since this killer test result proved it:

What do u think ^-)

However comodo is still very resourceful usage compare to ZA which I'm using at this time

Too bad Comodo doesn't remember anything and asks you about 10 times if you want to allow a program internet access.

Zone Alarm Free v6 - 11mb

Zone Alarm Free v7 - 38Mb

What on earth justifies such a large size increase?

I've used Comodo before and am gonna make the switch from ZA.

I would, especially if you are only using ZA free. ZA free is always near the bottom of security tests.

Zonealarm 7 free version is 38meg because it includes the whole suite (ZAIS), which by the way, is also about 38meg. A valid key will open up features whatever your key entitles you to.

Starting version 7, its anti virus use Kaspersky's engine; it's a good move.

Most of the tests I've seen ZA was close to the top but Comodo almost always took the crown.
