nVidia has finally released the first beta driver for GeForce 8800 GTX/GTS GPUs for Windows Vista.

Actually they support most nVidia cards, not only the 8 series.

Too bad it works like crap for my leadtek 8800 gtx on vista. Nothing like spending $600 on a card for ****ty driver support.

Tomorrow there should be a new driver out:

# DirectX 9 and OpenGL NVIDIA SLI support for GeForce 8800 GPUs will be available on January 31, 2007 in a new driver from NVIDIA
# DirectX 9 and OpenGL NVIDIA SLI support for GeForce 6 and 7 series GPUs and DirectX 10 NVIDIA SLI support for GeForce 8800 GPUs will be available in a future driver

You really need to calm down with the LIES part.

They're saying they're the first beta drivers because the others were never actually officially released, which you even noted. They're not lying about anything actually.

Still no automatic fan speed control on my eVGA 7900 GT.

Always run at 100% speed, so it's very louder.

I got no increase with CSS from the early December drivers.

There is a newer version out now. .59 I think
