It might have been beneficial to mention to readers that this software is not free, it's $40. (unless it was mentioned it in the link provided and I overlook it)

its not 40$ there is plenty of sales out there i got mine which is 5.0 and FREE updates for 1 year with anti-virus protection for only 20$ at best buy just one month ago

I say skip this product. I scanned my computer with Kaspersky, Adaware, and Spybot, with clean results. Spysweeper gave me a false positive on a flash item that's 5 years old on non-OS partition.

Which make me wonder if Spysweeper just gives inaccurate report so desperate people will just fork over $30 for removal.
