Often called the Swiss army knife of audio, dMC can digitally rip sound from audio CDs to a multitude of formats. Convert from one format to another while preserving ID tags. Nearly every audio type is supported, including MP3, MP4, Windows Media Audio (WMA), OGG Vorbis, AAC, Monkey's Audio, and FLAC (with optional installs from Codec Central). Windows Explorer integration and more...

What's New:

* Complete rewrite, new design, every aspect updated & improved. Full Unicode support, Windows 98 to Vista support.
* CD Ripper - Secure Ripper, c2 support (reference), AMG meta data with Album art & rating, ultra secure ripping mode
* All Codecs updated to latest versions, all improved.

* Multi-CPU encoder support
* New Batch Converter, new scripting engine, new Reference version,
* New DSP design allows for live effects

None of them hook the right click menu like this. But I've used MediaCoder.

This application is and always has been the best for encoding audio. It's a shame the MPEG group got at them for the whole MP3 encoding part, as it used to be free before that.

My concern: Can it convert files to WMA Pro? (v10 not WMAv9)

Yes, although you have to download the codec from here as it does not come as part of the main installation.
