Mp3tag is a powerful and yet easy-to-use tool to edit metadata (ID3, Vorbis Comments and APE) of common audio formats. It can rename files based on the tag information, replace characters or words from tags and filenames, import/export tag information, create playlists and more. The program supports online freedb database lookups for selected files, allowing you to automatically gather proper tag information for select files or CDs.

Changelog:
  • NEW: support for import of cover art from the clipboard.
  • NEW: support for AacGain undo field at MP4 files.
  • NEW: support for iTunes gapless field at MP4 files.
  • FIX: ITUNESCOMPILATION ID3v2 field was always saved with value 1.
  • FIX: cover art wasn't included in copy/cut/paste clipboard operations.
  • FIX: cover art wasn't removed via action 'Remove fields' if other fields where also specified.
  • FIX: mimetype of cover wasn't saved at MP4 files.
  • FIX: playing files under Windows Vista sometimes didn't work.
  • FIX: fixed bugs introduced with the last Development Builds

Not a bad app, but at this point I've become a huge fan of The GodFather for dealing with MP3 Tags.http://http://users.forthnet.gr/the/jtclipper/

Your link is incorrect, it's: http://users.forthnet.gr/the/jtclipper/

Anyway, Mp3tag is fine for me. Although Tag&Rename has features I miss.

I've always been a fan of MP3-Tag Studio... it's just a shame that it doesn't work with Vista.
