Why do people insist on having extra toolbars in explorer?

ie7pro has an adblocker, which is surely the only feature added here.

Now IE has a search box there is really no reason to get an extra toolbar... or am I missing something?

Thanks for your question, Rich.

The Quero Toolbar is the first toolbar that really combines the navigation, search and "find on page" box into only one input window that allows you to seaminglessly do all 3 things from one toolbar. You do not have to think which input box or shortcut (alt+d, ctrl+f, ctrl+e) to use because all use cases are combined into one (ctrl+q). Quero is also no extra toolbar but rather meant as a replacement for your default address bar.

Regarding the ad blocker there are a lot of differences between the ad blocker you mentioned and the one that is part of Quero. In Quero for example you can not only block banner and flash ads but also Google ads or general DIV-based layer ads. Additionally, Query gives the user the ability to immediatley unblock certain content.

Of course it is also possible to disable the built-in ad blocker of Quero and use a 3rd-party ad blocker if you like.

Lare2, I thought the whole site is about promoting software, is it not? Please keep also in mind that my postings unlike spam are non-commercial in nature. Thanks for your attention.
