K-Meleon is an extremely fast, customizable, lightweight web browser for the win32 (Windows) platform based on the Gecko layout engine (the rendering engine of Mozilla). K-Meleon is free, open source software released under the GNU General Public License.

Tried it before. Not much different than Firefox, which I don't like. Will give it another try just for something to do, seeing as how nobody else is commenting on this topic.

Heck, I'm actually liking this Kmeleon. The way I did it, was just unzip the file into it own folder and copy the exe to desktop. No installation.

Even after puposely surfing some slightly illicit sites, I ran Spybot and Adware. Neither found anything. Never been able to do that with Firefox, no matter how much it's tweaked!!

Just because I'm talking to myself here, I'll start my own flame war!!

I now have another reason to despise Firefox!!

Opera still rules though!!

Done talking to myself now as I am just now installing it on computer #5. The last one in the house.

Not a bad browser!

Firefox is too heavy to be a convenient portable application but K-Meleon is perfect for USB drives.
