Are they ever going to update drivers for their other cards or what? The last few XP driver updates have only been for those same cards.

Anything new for us 7900GTX owners who wont switch to Vista just yet?

Looks like it's just for the 8800 series.

This is getting pretty old. They've had more than enough time to update some drivers for other cards in XP. I know they're probably busy working on Vista drivers, but still...

Take an .inf file from the latest (last realeased) XP drivers and add the device IDs from the newer .inf to the older one and install. It will work. It will no longer be WHQL'd.

tempted to use them but I think i'll wait for some reviews of the drivers to come in.

this is a joke. the current WHQL certifified drivers have been out since September of last year. making the drivers 7 months old. pretty sure its time for an update....

Wow!!! I remember Nvidia used to have better drivers then ATI/AMD. Now AMD/ATI is blowing Nvidia away on driver updates.

AMD doesn't even have DX10 cards out the door yet, so with one less architecture to support, AMD would do a horrible job if they were worse in this case.

the non-g80 drivers have already been updated plenty of times before when the products were new
its time for the g80 to get some attention since it is now the top of the line product

besides, why do you want driver updates for those so badly?
the current drivers for my friend's geforce 7900gtx seems stable enough on every game he plays...
but the 8800gtx on the other hand has plenty of issues, and even with that driver update some of the are still not fixed.

and yes i do own one myself, so you could argue that i'm a bit biased on the subject
but the fact is, g7 is wayyy more stable than g80 as of now, so why shouldn't it get more updates?
