At last!! I can now move on up to Vista and see how well it works

Doesn't work on Vista x64, and Avira is not going to release a version for it until autumn. Reason I moved to Kaspersky today, no need to pay for software that doesn't work (I made the mistake of buying a licence before knowing they would not do a new version).

Tried this some time ago, but was annoyed by a pop-up window. Is it gone in recent versions?
