3.99 was fine on Vista
If I want to edit pictures, I have photoshop
Your fault, you should have bought a better camera.
If you wanted to stay with Nikon, then you would have to get up to the D200.
Actually, my camera (FujiFilm FinePix S5 Pro) does not have GPS built-in, but it supports it so I bought it as an add-on. Now the GPS coordinates are recorded directly in EXIF on each photo I shoot (unless it is indoors and I don't get a good signal).
However, you can use software and an external independent GPS device and get your photos GPS tagged in post-processing, just make sure the date and time on your camera is correct so it can match the photos with your GPS coordinates using time as the common ground.
A: This is a red CAT, a road cat. Note, I like cats, but this is a joke ;-)

But why no JPG2000 in batch conversion?

I do not see this as trolling, but some may do that too...
As regards to your last statement, that is quite lame. If only positive statements were welcomed, then this site wouldn't be wort visiting.
