Took them 4 versions to finally implement image centring..

Bleh, I'll stick to xnview.

Irfanview resizes itself to the size of the image loaded though, so image centerign is only usefull when you use it maximized, wich isn't all that usefull for an image viewer liek irfan view, image viewers, or at least image viewers that resize like irfanview is pretty much one of the only apps I ever run non maximised.

What is wrong with XPs built-in photo viewer?
If I want to edit pictures, I have photoshop
#8.1 Kushan on 24 Apr 2007 - 15:50
Last I checked, Photoshop cost a LOT of money.

Your fault, you should have bought a better camera.
If you wanted to stay with Nikon, then you would have to get up to the D200.

Actually, my camera (FujiFilm FinePix S5 Pro) does not have GPS built-in, but it supports it so I bought it as an add-on. Now the GPS coordinates are recorded directly in EXIF on each photo I shoot (unless it is indoors and I don't get a good signal).

However, you can use software and an external independent GPS device and get your photos GPS tagged in post-processing, just make sure the date and time on your camera is correct so it can match the photos with your GPS coordinates using time as the common ground.

Too bad the link to irfanview_plugins_400_setup.exe is broken and missing from the (USA) mirrors....

what is with the retarded icon?
#11.1 metallithrax on 24 Apr 2007 - 20:52
Q: What is the IrfanView icon, is this a bear or devil or something else?
A: This is a red CAT, a road cat. Note, I like cats, but this is a joke ;-)

From Irfanview FAQ

But why no JPG2000 in batch conversion?

Why is when some software update is posted, *someone* has to come in and troll about another software that they prefer?!

Jeez, its an update for those who use it. Dont like it, dont post!
#16.1 GAM on 29 Apr 2007 - 03:27
Actually, I find it quite useful when people point out other software that they claim/feel is better. Then I check out that app too, and pick the better.

I do not see this as trolling, but some may do that too...

As regards to your last statement, that is quite lame. If only positive statements were welcomed, then this site wouldn't be wort visiting.

Awesome! Thanks for the tip. Been using this forever. Not much of a graphics guru, but this does whatever I've ever needed it to do.
