Nvidia has finally released another set of official beta drivers for Windows Vista. They are for GeForce 8800 GTS, GeForce 8800 GTX, and GeForce 8800 Ultra, and are available in both 32bit and 64bit flavors, with some more SLI support fixes. This is not a WHQL release, so Windows will prompt you about these drivers not being digitally signed. International downloads are available.

Get the modified inf file to support all GeForce 6/7/8 series (32bit) here:

Still, the Digital Vibrance setting wont stick after reboot (7800GS).

It mentions series 6/7... so is this not just for the 8 series, unlike what the second sentence says?

NVIDIA likes to recycle old text, those drivers are for 8800s cards only (not even for 8600s) unless you use a modified inf.
