uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients.

Features:
  • Multiple simultaneous downloads
  • Configurable bandwidth scheduler
  • Global and per-torrent speed limiting
  • Quick-resumes interrupted transfers
  • RSS Downloader
  • Trackerless support (Mainline DHT)

Changelog:
  • Change: use radio marks for Bandwidth Allocation menu items instead of check marks
  • Fix: When installing to user profile directory uTorrent now tries to be smarter in choosing a localized program files directory name
  • Fix: Work around a Wine bug where getsockname() returns success but keeps passed in port at 0 if socket already bound; thus uTorrent would itself reset back to port 0 if it was already in use
  • Fix: Don't scroll general tab horizontally since it has no horizontal scrollbar
This is BETA software!, please use caution when installing it on your system

I find it odd that the built-in updater doesnt' catch this and that it's not mentioned in the forum. How'd you find this one Tantawi?

I found it here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_utorrent/, I'm subscribed to their RSS, I always used to find the latest version on the beta thread even before the auto update, but now I wonder why they didn't update it yet! Seems someone have some free time trying numbers manually? or a relative to the developer

I'm always on their forum, got the heads-up from a developer though I'm not sure why they didn't public announce it yet.... not on the site or their forum

Guess ill wait some time with the update then.

The previews version is working fine anyway.

I believe this version contains an improved RSS parser (support for 720p/i and 1080i/p), a fix for the mouse-scroll bug, and a couple of other things.

Moderators remove his rapidshare link. The official link for it would be http://download.utorrent.com/beta/utorrent-1.7-beta-2145.exe

Absolutly no reason to download it from anywhere other than the official site.
