Logitech SetPoint is the software used to install and control Logitech mice and keyboards. It contains drivers and software enabling you to take full advantage of your mouse and keyboard. It has been reported that this is a Vista specific release for both 32bit and 64bit flavours.

Although they haven't updated the web site to show this download for Windows XP, it does support it. (Installed on Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005)

OMG! Thanks!

I've been having some behavior issues with my new MX Revolution, so I'm glad these are out. Hope they address the problem!

I really hate how everything is coming with "toolbars" lately... at least the 3.3 drivers had the option unchecked...

all I can say is... #@%& TOOLBARS!!

You can choose to not have the toolbar install, you just have to actually read the install screens instead of just clicking "yes" or "next" to everything.

On a real positive note, these drivers fix a problem (or at least so far have) that I've been having with my MX for a long time now where it would randomly jump to the far left side of my left monitor (dual monitor setup). Since installing these drivers (13+ hours ago) I've not had that glitch occur once. Hopefully it's a fixed issue in the new drivers. I was using the 3.3 drivers before.

By the way, they're not all that much bigger (58MB instead of 48MB) than the old drivers... I don't see why they have to be so big, but whatever. Must be the custom program settings part of the program...

The point is that bundling toolbars into installers is blatant spam. It's like receiving something in my email inbox that I didn't ask for or want. They are using my internet connection to download this crap and it is wrong.
