I gave it a try. seems to do what it says it will. It claimed it could increase "access" to my registry by 12% after defrag. Not sure whether this will increase any access speed, but it didn't trash my registry and it creates it's own system restore point if there are any problems.

I ran this on my two work machines. Didn't have any problems. On one it said the speed gain was 12%, the other had 6%. The real question is, even with an optimized/compacted registry, does it really improve performance as much as the program says? That I cannot quantify or comment on.
