They didn't need to change the software.. Just keep improving the detections..

This software is insane.. You have to *pay* for a custom scan? Nuts!

Lunarsoft.net is going to keep carrying Ad-Aware 1.06 Personal for a while. The duration has not yet been said, but it may be until these issues are resolved. I know that the biggest reason they are holding onto that version is because Ad-Aware 2007 expects you to pay for the custom scan, where Ad-Aware SE 1.06 does not.

wtf you guys serious about the paying part?

screw this then ill stick with the older version for now then. plus it's kinda funny how this is 17MB vs like less than 3MB for the older version... something dont add up... *cough*bloated*cough*

well just shut down the service. I have mine on manual. I was using Soyware Terminator but after the updates to it it took 6 hours for a full scan. I kinda like this new Adaware and what does it matter about custom scan cause if I do a full scan it scans all my drives.

adaware 2007 is bad bloatware. tried it and it was using 100% cpu on adwatch. needless to say it didnt stay on my pc for long. im sticking with 6.01
