Come on, if you aint got anything better than that, stop writing news.
I do gotta say I've found their GarageBand program quite useful though. Helped me quench my thirst for Year Zero in 5.1
Update: Since I originally made this post I tried using Safari to play the iPhone quicktime video that I downloaded after the first crash. It almost worked but while I was trying to find the spot in the video where I had left off Safari crashed again and this time ended up freezing up my whole computer. I'm on an installastion of Vista x64 thats less than a week old and seems extremely stable. After a minute of chugging and partial usability, it came up with just a grayed out desktop with which I could no nothing except click and close and "end program" dialog box over and over. First time I've had to use the reset button on this installation of Windows. I knew it was gonna suck but that was a little more than just annoying.

Otherwise, I rather like the looks and feel of this browser. Has crashed the first time I started it on 6 of my machines that it does work on. After that initial crash, hasn't crashed since except when visiting this site, http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation...p?ID=KMIMUSKE13, and clicking on almost any link on that page.
Not mentioning about same security same as IE
The toolbar does not have a button to open a new tab, and even customizing toolbar does not allow me such a simple task.
Slightly off topic, I find most of the built in pop-up blockers in browsers almost completely useless, as I find about 6 in every 10 pop-ups make it through...

I'm sure that I am not alone in saying this: Slower than my Firefox 1.5 and slower than my Internet Explorer 7 in loading webpages. Just slower in general. Some things are painfully slow!

You're joking right? This thing makes my eyes cry with the dark depressing greys. How the hell am I meant to focus on the web and not my browser when my browser stands out a mile -- the only program on my computer that doesn't use my Windows theme -- it doesn't get with the program -- it uses its own (inferior) skin. You want me to use your skin on my system so that everything fits? Keep dreaming.
When I am looking at safari using this different (mac) theme, I'm focusing on this different theme, *not* the web as I can with other browsers!
* Easy Bookmarks - Organize your bookmarks just like you organize music in iTunes.
All browsers allow bookmarks. Try explaining how this method of storing bookmarks is better than spaces.
* Pop-up Blocking - Say goodbye to annoying pop-up ads and pop-under windows.
What the!? How come I got spammed by popups when I went to an IRC search engine on safari (popup blocker enabled)? Yet firefox blocks them. Keep trying..
* Inline Find - Search any text on any website with the integrated Find banner.
Firefox has this. The only thing new here is the way that it shows matching words -- firefox should make use of this.
* Tabbed Browsing - Open and switch between multiple web pages in a single window.
Welcome to the 21st century. Even my Lynx (text browser on linu
* SnapBackSnapback - Instantly snap back to search results or the top level of a website.
Not useful at all. That's what my Up arrow is for (note: not left/right, but up) -- I find I never use this feature on other browsers.
* Forms AutoFill - Let Safari complete online forms for you, automatically and securely.
All browsers do this and it's annoying. No thanks!
* RSSBuilt-in RSS - RSS tells you when new content is added to your favorite sites.
Yes, all my browsers have RSS on toolbar and have an RSS button when they detect a feed. I prefer using a standalone program like Akregator for RSS though. I have Firefox or Konqueror communicate detected feeds though to my standalone program(ie. Akregator). Safari cannot do this.
* Resizable Text Fields - Resize text fields on any website: Just grab the corner and drag.
I'll admit this is new. I have yet to find a purpose for this though. I've never had any urge to resize a text field.
* Private Browsing - Keep your online activities private with a single click.
Just as private as any other browser. Don't kid yourself.
* Security - Apple engineers designed Safari to be secure from day one.
LOL, that's nice. Too bad it isn't.

FF hasa an addon named Resizeable Form Fields
Resizes HTML form fields, including textareas, select boxes, text fields, and iframes.

Safari is still beta,
Yup same here. I can actually use safari now.
People keep bashing safari...and I don't think its that bad. Since this update it hasn't crashed on me and it goes nice with my mac skined xp. I have some issues (doesn't remember window size, no scrolling with laptop touch pad, and I still don't know how to use the rss) but overall it's alright. Let's keep in mind it's still beta, and it's bound to get better.
Definitely NOT the fastest loading browser by a long shot, otherwise, just as fast as any other. One site I have found it to have issues at is, http://www.wunderground.com. Clicking just about any link at that site crashes it.
