WindowBlinds is a program that can change the entire look and feel of Windows XP or Windows Vista by applying a new "skin" to the Windows user interface. These skins (also known as visual styles) can change title bars, push buttons, the Start bar, scrollbars, and nearly every other part of the Windows interface. Thousands of free skins are available to give Windows a whole new theme.

WindowBlinds 5.51 not only adds support for running on 64-bit Windows Vista (32-bit support already available) but also adds support for Vista Aero shadows even on skins that don't explicitly support shadows. WindowBlinds is a free download. Users can register it for $19.95 on its own or purchase it as part of Object Desktop for $49.95 which includes over a dozen additional programs to enhance the Windows experience. WindowBlinds 5.51 requires Windows XP, 2003, or Windows Vista.

If it is free then why register it for $20? What are the differences between the free and registered?

It's not hard to go to Stardocks website and read the differences. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, it's just that all you have to do is go to their site and read instead of sitting here waiting for an answer.
