NVIDIA released another set of official beta drivers for Windows Vista. They are for GeForce 8 line of GPUs, and are available in both 32bit and 64bit flavors. This is not a WHQL release, so Windows will prompt you about these drivers not being digitally signed.

Release Highlights:
  • This driver supports single GPU and NVIDIA SLI™ technology on DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL for GeForce 8 series GPUs.
  • Improved compatibility for World in Conflict.
  • Numerous game and application compatibility fixes.
This is BETA software!, please use caution when installing it on your system

There's also the new 162.22 drivers, which support GeForce 6100 through 8800 Ultra. Like the 163.11 drivers, the 162.22 drivers are also beta and also Vista-only.

You can get 162.22 32-bit drivers here and the 162.22 64-bit drvers here.

They ever plan on replacing the 162.18 driver set for XP X64 that would cause system restarts trying to open the nvidia control panel???

It should be noted that 163.11 works just as well on any nVidia chipset, not just the 8xxx series.

Head over to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index....showtopic=13871 for details. All you need is an updated inf file for the installer.
