- Do I hate Norton, Yes. Do I think this is one of the best tools every made, Yes. Do I find it funny that they need their own uninstall app, No. Infact I wish more companies would make an uninstall app for their software. When an uninstall works like it should then great, but when it doesn't, this kind of tool comes in very handy, for any application.

- I absolutely love this program. Used it on a client's PC remotely today, actually.

- Good. I just tried it and I was worried that the uninstaller had to be installed in order for it to work. Sounds funny, I know, but I would expect nothing less of Norton. So yes, this is indeed a standalone application. phew.

- Too easy, but I'll say it anyway:
This is, without a doubt, the most useful piece of software in the Norton lineup... -

- That and their wear-testing solution, Norton Antivirus, used by hardware developers to see how well their hardware stands up to heavy loads.

...And is updated every year to accommodate faster hardware - a veritable benchmark! -

- I wonder why they still keep marketing it as an antivirus software... The sale people and the devellopers must not talk to each other often.
