About browser mute function:
- In windows xp, it can mute all media's sound, such as Flash/QuickTime/MediaPlayer/RealPlayer and so on.
- In windows 2000/vista, it can mute sound of Flash/RealPlayer.
- In windows 98, it doesn't work, the speaker state change only mute web page's BGSound.

Actually I'd say its more likelly to be Firefox, the config button has Fx's logo. However I don't know how Internet Explorer 7 looks.
