What are you talking about. WMP is the only player that has HDCD compatibility:

It's Audiophile quality sound. Nothing else can compare to it on a 16 bit/44khz format

HDCD isn't exactly a widely used format for mainstream music.
I can't remember the last time I went to a site that offered videos in Real Player format. These days it's just Windows Media Player, Quicktime and Flash.

but it dont really matter since it's like he said above... most stuff uses flash/quicktime/wmp nowadays anyways for almost every video format on the web.
