- I did not care for this software... they claim that you can use it with non Ultimate systems using there desktop "Simulator" ... I'm sorry but, it bites.

SSDream is really about running a screen saver as your desktop background. Video and Images where added afterward. It's also a way to collect your desktop media so SSDream can cycle through them.

SSDream is a Vista application that allows screen savers, videos and images to be used as your wallpaper. As a added bonus, if you have multiple monitors, SSDream will play different screen savers, videos or images on each monitor. Be sure to watch the video demo to see what it can do!
Key Features:
* Multi-monitor support. Each monitor gets a different screen saver, video or image.
* Vista's stock screen savers and all the screen savers in the free open source Really Slick Screensavers collection are working. Any screen saver that renders itself in the preview window has the potential to work in SSDream. Check out the Screen Saver Section to see what screen savers have been discovered to work.
* Video support expanded beyond DreamScene's WMV and MPEG-2. Any video that runs in Windows Media Player should work as your desktop. Check out video collection in the Video Section.
* Timed changes using transitions to switch to a new screen saver, video or image.
* Image support for static wallpapers. There are some great static wallpapers out there! JPEG, BMP, WMF, and PNG format supported.
* NEW! Support for all versions of Vista.
- Non-Vista Ultimate users can use the desktop simulator to keep their desktop icons.
- Vista Ultimate users can use Vista's native desktop by using DeskScapes (instructions on the download page)
* See the full list of features here, or check out the release notes here.
