Damn, now that's a changelog.

It's about time milkdrop worked with DEP fully applied. It's the only vis I use in Winamp. Yeah I know DEP can break a lot of programs but I'd rather have the extra security.

Can someone develop on these two? Is this something like toaster for Winamp?
#3.1 th3rEsa on 22 Aug 2007 - 22:20
I guess so, but afaik not that mighty.
#3.2 miguel_montes on 23 Aug 2007 - 17:15
Yeah, It's something like this:

I wonder if they're ever thinking about adding album art to the notification window?

Download arabic Winamp
#5 Tirnaog on 22 Aug 2007 - 20:45
Does this work on Vista64?
#6 Darrian on 22 Aug 2007 - 20:59
I would imagine so, since probably every previous version of winamp works, and certainly every past build for the last year or so does

edit: you probably won't be able to burn cds, though, and possibly won't be able to rip them

I'm experiencing issues with Winamp 5.35 and my iPod nano. When I use Winamp to add songs to my iPod, it crashes Winamp when I switch from my iPod to Local Media in the Winamp Media Library. Worst, when I stay in Local Media to drag and drog songs to my iPod, it will remove these songs from the Media Library and it will corrupt the song titles until I restart Winamp. I tried on 3-4 boxes and the same thing happens. Someone is having the same problem?

Thanks

Look at that changelog!!! Are the new developers drinking gallons of Red Bull for breakfast?! My god, they just came out with an update a few weeks back! This is AWESOME!
#10 gadean on 23 Aug 2007 - 03:27
oh, and look at this: New: [ml_local] Album Art support/pane
Does it get any better?!

i wish one of those improvements would be start up speed
#11.1 o0o o0o on 23 Aug 2007 - 08:36
startup speed has increased due to new plugins been introduced with every release
to increase ur speed, jus remove the plugins u dont need
#11.2 th3rEsa on 23 Aug 2007 - 09:01
Actually I'm wondering about some Winamp users. They fill the plugins folder with tons of toys, worry about the start-up time and choose another audio player because Winamp is "too slow" and "consumes too many resources".

Winamp Lite is great.

You know, I should have went through that directory years ago. The only thing I want to see in my ML is a few things -- and their AOL-ad services isn't one of them. I didn't realize you could get rid of all those things through the plugins, but I do now.

Oh, and Winamp still remains my favorite -- and it's not all that slow to start up, it takes just as long to open WMP11 (and even longer to open iTunes haha).

If only it didn't crash on scanning my music folders... :/
