Use to use this but Avast has much better protection.

great free product. it has a very minimal footprint and does not impact performance. Norton/McAfee - you guys should take notice!

I've heard that this one scans but doesn't disinfects? And I've also seen some websites that claims that Avira(1) and Avast!(2) are better than AVG!

Cleans fine for me. The other day, for the first time in a few years, I got a warning from my AV (recently switched to AVG again) about a trojan in my system. It moved the file to the vault since it couldn't clean it.

Avast is far better. I have done tests myself.
